Urban sustainability and green infrastructure

Analyze and evaluate the implementation and management of nature-based solutions (NBS) and other socio-technical-ecological innovations as adaptation strategies, with special focus on the coastline and urban waterfronts. Governance, socio-urban effects, ecosystem values (provision, regulation, cultural, habitat), risk perception, and conflicts associated with these interventions are studied.
Study the social challenges associated with urban innovations such as digitization of mobility systems to foster socially just transitions.
Provide recommendations to inform public policy, inclusive design of mobility solutions and contribute to capacity building and collaborative networking.
Analyze the development of transformations in urban systems (physical infrastructure and governance) to address social challenges.
